Philip Green

Philip Green has worked in the electrotechnology industry for 35 years. He is a former Executive Director of NECA Victoria and, until July 2022, was the CEO of NECA Education and Careers Ltd. He has also been a director of various companies associated with the electrical industry and education and training over the past 30 years.

Bruce Duff

Bruce Duff has worked in electrical contracting since 1976, commencing work as an apprentice electrician, then progressing through the industry to managing director and partner in RIC Electrics Pty Ltd in 1986. Bruce has demonstrated his commitment to the contracting industry as a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) NSW since 1988.

Stephen Kerfoot

Stephen Kerfoot is the Director of Kerfoot, a successful commercial electrical contracting business servicing the NSW market. Kerfoot provides industrial and commercial installations, maintenance, and service for a broad range of public and private sector clients and projects.

Stephen has been a part of the electrical and construction industry, and a supporter of NECA, for over 40 years. He has been a member of the NECA NSW council for over 10 years, and is the current NSW President and National Councillor. Stephen has also been the Director of the NECA NSW Electrical Apprentices for over 18 years, as well as the Director of the NSW registered training business.

Dean Spicer

Dean is the owner and Managing Director of Recips, a successful electrical contracting company in the eastern suburb of Victoria, which services clients all over Victoria and interstate. Recips is strongly focussed on Eco Smart solutions and was one of the first businesses to be accredited under the Eco Smart Electricians program.

Dean was the Treasurer of NECA Victoria for two years before becoming President. He is a strong supporter of NECA, and encourages all electrical contracting companies to join. He is honest, friendly and passionate! Dean believes strongly in the National Licensing Scheme, renewable energy, and the need for our industry to move to energy efficient solutions.

Ken Postill

Ken Postill is no stranger to the electrotechnology industry, having owned and operated his own business for over 11 years, and having worked for Halmac Group as installations manager for 5 years, growing the section from a crew of 13 to one in excess of 50. Ken also spent 27 years at TAFE Ultimo College, predominantly as a Head Teacher, from 1990 to 2017.

He has also written a book, titled Electrical Contracting: Estimating, Quotations, Contracts, Project Management and Business Operation, which is available for purchase under the ‘Resources‘ tab on this website.

Secretary

Peter Evans

Peter is the Principal of Tunaungana Consulting, a business focused on helping not-for-profit organisations to achieve their strategic goals through excellent planning, governance and risk management. He has presented to the NECA Victoria State Council on governance models and drafted its sponsorship policy and is the trainer at NECA Education and Careers for the Registered Electrical Contractor (Business) course.

Peter trained as an Electrical and Electronic Engineer (University of Adelaide, graduating in 1984).  He had a long career in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector and education software product sector before transitioning to his current focus.  He is an experienced not-for-profit Director and Secretary, having filled such roles in the education, sporting, community and environment sectors.  He is qualified as a Chartered Company Secretary and also serves as Company Secretary for Constructive Legal Solutions, a company owned by NECA Victoria.
